Job description
A national solar, battery storage, and microgrid contractor is hiring a Project Superintendent to run the day to day at the jobsite. You are the one making sure what gets built matches what was drawn, and that the crews and subs stay on schedule.
What you will run
- Daily supervision of solar PV, battery storage, and microgrid installations
- Subcontractors and field labor, held to plans and specifications
- Material and equipment logistics on site
- Production goals and schedule adherence
- Daily safety talks and job hazard analyses
- Three-week rolling schedules
- Scope changes, documentation, inspections, and quality assurance
Rotation and travel
Five weeks on site, one week off. You travel Saturday to start Monday, and head home Sunday when the rotation ends.
Compensation
$125,000 to $175,000 base, open at the top end for the right background. On top of base, every week you are on site:
- $160 per day per diem, seven days a week
- $350 per day additional for Saturdays
- $450 per day additional for Sundays

Requirements
- 3 to 5 years in general construction, including at least 1 year on solar photovoltaic work
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent field experience
- Track record running multiple projects and large crews
- Electrical background preferred
- Familiarity with racking, panels, inverters, DC and AC wiring, battery systems, and NEC standards
- Willing to stay on remote sites for extended stretches
